The Argentinian Peso (ARS) showed minimal fluctuation against the US Dollar (USD) today, July 23rd, 2024. According to Trading Economics, the exchange rate closed at ARS 925.77 per USD, representing a slight increase of 0.01% from yesterday’s closing rate.
This comes after a period of significant depreciation for the Peso earlier this year. The Argentinian government implemented a devaluation plan in December 2023, and the Peso continues to be under pressure due to inflationary concerns.
Analysts predict some continued depreciation in the coming months, with Trading Economics estimating the Peso to reach ARS 1032.63 by the end of the quarter. Long-term forecasts are less optimistic, with a projected exchange rate of ARS 1501.50 per USD in one year.
